Google Voice Search for Desktop PC

Google Voice Search for Desktop PC

Google Voice  Search service has been officially announced for desktop PC by Google. With Google Voice Search  you can talk instead of type to search on google.com. All you need is Google Chrome 11 or higher and a built-in or attached microphone. Google is rolling out this Voice Search feature gradually for every Google Chrome user on Windows, Linux and Mac OS (maybe it will be available for Firefox and Internet Explorer user too).

How to enable Google Voice Search: If you want to experience Google Voice Search right now, download and install Google Chrome Browser and go to Google Experimental page. In the ‘Voice Search’ label click the ‘Join this experiment’ button to enable the Google Voice Search feature for you. Now visit google.com and you will notice a mic icon in the Google Search box. Click on it and speak into your microphone (Available English only) to start your Google Voice Search.

Note: You can join only one Google experiment at a time. If you want to experience other Google Search experiment and still want the Google Voice Search feature, you can try Google Voice Search for PC and MAC with a Chrome extension.
