Media player with a lot of features
Calaym is an GUI (Graphical User Interface) for sound systems (Default sound system is Firelight Technologie's FMOD Ex). This means, Calaym manages the playlist, menus, options, ... and uses a external sound system to play music.
The interface of Calaym uses no complex or slow skinning engine or new skin format; it just looks like it should - like a Windows program.
All common music formats are supported, as well as major formats the sound system supports. In love with a specific song? Just switch to single-repeat mode and optionally use crossfading.
Calaym supports fade in/out for your songs, and can also automatically disable Windows sounds.
Calaym has excellent support for both mouse and keyboard. All basic features are available in the main menu, and keyboard shortcuts - which can be customized - are shown on the right side of the item. The advanced tooltips are updated while displayed and also show related keyboard shortcuts.
