Wake-on-LAN (WOL) is a computer networking feature that allows you to remotely turn on one or more computers sending  packet to the remote computers. To turn on computer remotely, install WakeMeOnLan software on the controlling PC running Windows (Windows 2000 up to Windows 7, including x64 versions of Windows). Make sure your targeted remote computers supports Wake-on-LAN feature and its enabled on them. On some computers, you may need to enable Wake-on-LAN feature from motherboard’s BIOS Power Management section.  Or you can turn on the Wake-on-LAN feature from the network card properties, you should go to the ‘Power Management’ and/or ‘Advanced’ tabs of the network adapter.
